This was such a great adventure! We decided to go up to Copper during the *ghost town* season and on our way back down we stopped at a pizza place called Jersey Boys Pizza and MAN did they know how to do pizza!! We ordered a salad and an INCREDIBLE appetizer that, let me just say, was APPETIZING! I am not sure how they got all of the cheese and pepperoni INSIDE of that delicious crispy bread. It must be Jersey magic. We had a really hard time deciding on one of their specialty pizzas so they let us do half and half. The crust was perfect, the sauces were perfect and so were the toppings. I especially loved the vodka sauce on the Penne Vodka pizza and how light and creamy it was. Additionally, it was fun eating pasta on a pizza. The breaded chicken on the Chicken Parmigiana pizza was absolutely delicious and crispy. The sauce on that one was very zippy with lots of flavor. I can’t express enough how delicious this pizza was and, if that weren’t enough, the owner and staff were really great. It looks like it would be a fun place to frequent.

I have eaten at this place before today. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The one thing I remember before eating here is that. Probably because it is in the mountains, it was expensive. However, I also remember it being good. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. It was even better than I remember. The pizza was one of the most delicious I have had in a very long while. The pepperoni rolls were melt in your mouth delicious as well.
The owner was amazing. I look forward to returning here and enjoying the pizza again. It does seem to be a bit of a local’s hangout spot. If you are looking for an upscale restaurant in which to dine on pizza, this is not it. However, if you are looking for an amazing pizza with a lovely ambiance, check this place out.
Totally want to know when we can drive back to Dillon for more Jersey magic!
